And, frequently, at the Moth events in New York City and Brooklyn.
I saw you speak at the SCBWI convention and enjoyed your comments. You mentioned your blog and since I’m currently enrolled in a 12-step program for people addicted to blogs, it was just the crack I needed.
The first post I saw was of the Improv Everywhere group. I think they are fantastic. I saw them do their routine on the subway last year and was impressed with how well they kept a straight face.
You also said that you published A Northern Light, which is a book that I’ve recommended to many students. I hope you weren’t mobbed after getting off stage and got to hear Jack Gantos’ speech. He talked about the characters that you can’t forget, and Mattie is definitely one of those.
I’m psyched to subscribe.

I saw you speak at the SCBWI conference in NYC as well. You did mention your blog and twitter. So, here I am.
I appreciated hearing your insights, and those of the other panelists.
I have 2 questions for you, if you don’t mind. First, the editors all seemed willing (if not excited) to accept a manuscript from us within the next few months. How about the agents (you)? Second, I’m sensing nothing escapes you, but have you checked out Mental Floss newsletter? It’s fun.

I really enjoyed your participation in the Agent’s Panel at the SCBWI conference last month. After reading about you in Writer’s Digest, I was pleased to see you are as funny and dedicated to children’s books as the article suggested. I will be sending you something in the near future (after it goes through another critique session with an online group). Thanks for an opportunity to send manuscripts to you. Those of us wishing to break into book publishing are indebted. A shrine has been built in your honor on the off ramp of @#$%&^*#…sorry, I got disconnected…

Hey you! I am so glad I found you. I was awed by your presentation at the Florida SCBWI conference last June and thrilled to have tracked you down!
